I was a spoiled rich kid from the middle of nowhere. I was immediately intrigued by this haughty young man, whose life was sure to be eventful. The story is of Eddy Sky, a teenage misanthrope who firmly believes that the rules of society should not apply to him, nor to any truly free individual.

So, what really made him a character worth being the focus of a coming-of-age story. In the Dust Dillon, Takani In the Dust is the debut novella from Australian writer Takani Dillon. Right upon page one, we got introduced to Eddy’s cynism and impulsiveness. This book gave off a strong Catcher in the Rye vibe and I was here for it.
